The Mag-Wind System is a wind turbine system created by Enviro Energies. The Mag-Wind System’s dominant advantage is that it can utilize wind forces from any direction, including up or down winds. Due to the vertical axis of the windmill wind will turn the turbines from any direction.
The system is also magnetically levitated, meaning that friction, noise, vibration and energy loss are all minimized. The Mag-Wind System has the distinct ability to generate large amounts of electricity with a low rotational speed. Thus, low wind speeds are able to propel the Mag-Wind System efficiently. On the other hand, maximum speeds of over 100mph can be utilized by this system.
The Mag-Wing System utilizes magnetic resistance to produce electricity, it also contains a mechanism for increasing or lessening that magnetic resistance. An increase in magnetic resistance reduces the cut-in wind speed needed for electricity generation. The Mag-Wind System has the opportunity to replace much of our other energy consumption needs, and it will replace them with a cleaner burning, renewable energy source—wind. With a magnetic levitation system, the Mag-Wind gaurantees that the customer will not have to continuosly repair the machine because of constant vibration. With no vibration, the wear and tear is almost entirely eliminated.
